We aren’t a giant, impersonal property management company; we are passionate hosts who love Gulf Shores and want you to love it, too. We set up the Surfing Turtle because we know how hard it is to find an affordable, spacious vacation rental right in the heart of the action that actually feels like a home. At the Surfing Turtle, sleeping 20 people is just the beginning—we actually give you the space to enjoy having 20 people together! We’ve carefully designed our 6-bedroom, 3-bathroom layout so your group can seamlessly bounce between making memories together and finding their own quiet corners to recharge.

The Grand Room (The Main Hub):
This massive, open-concept space is perfect for the whole crew. Host an epic game night at the large kitchen table, gather around the kitchen counter for snacks, or kick back in the main living room—all flowing together in one huge, connected space.
The Street-Facing Sunroom:
Looking for a bright spot to read a book or sip your morning coffee in peace? Step into our dedicated sunroom, complete with a cozy couch and a big, comfortable lounge chair for the ultimate quiet escape.
The Downstairs Game Room:
Send the kids (or the kids at heart!) downstairs to their own massive hangout zone. It is fully decked out with two large couches, cozy lounging chairs, and plenty of extra seating to keep the fun going. We even tucked a quiet reading chair into the bunk bed hallway!
The Under-Deck Patio & Decks:
Take in the salty breeze from almost 1,000 sq. ft. of wrap-around upper decking, enjoy a bug-free dinner in the screened-in patio, or cool down in the shade on the benches and chairs beneath the deck.
The Private Pool Oasis:
The pool deck is practically your own private resort. With 8 plush loungers, outdoor couches, and plenty of chairs, the entire group can comfortably hang out by the water all day long.
Sand-Free & Stress-Free: The Ultimate Pool & Beach Setup
We know that a day at the beach or lounging by the pool means wet swimsuits and sandy toes. That is why the lower level is perfectly equipped to keep the beach outside and the house pristine!
Convenient Foot Wash Station:
Rinsing off the beach is a breeze! We have a dedicated foot wash right outside the bathroom area so you can leave the sand behind before you even step onto the under-deck patio.
Private Outdoor Shower:
Need a full rinse? Just steps from the pool area, our private 4’x4′ shower is exactly what you need to wash off the salt after your quick 3-minute walk back from the ocean.
Dedicated Pool Bath & Dressing Room:
Located right off the covered patio, this spacious 6’x4′ half-bath doubles as a private dressing room. Your group can easily change in and out of their swimsuits without having to run upstairs dripping wet.
